Patterson Little League is Volunteer-run (100%!)

Patterson Little League is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) organization. Your child’s coach, the Board president and members, the guy sitting on his couch typing out this web page - we are all dads and moms like you who care about Patterson Little League baseball in our community and volunteer our time to help where we can. As everyone steps in to give of their talents and time and leadership and ideas, it’s amazing what can come together. Think about this…

 

Patterson Little League serves more than 200 youth ages 4-16 each year across 20+ baseball, and Rookie (formerly T-ball) teams.  We partner with local organizations to offer skills clinics free-of-charge for players, coaches, and parents throughout the season.  

 

There’s a lot going on at Patterson Litttle League, and all the families to thank. 

 

Ways to Volunteer

Did you know that Patterson Little League has 10 official key volunteer positions, not including coaches or team managers, that need to be filled in order to run all our programs? Add two coaches and a team manager for each of our 20+ teams and we’re now talking about 30 volunteers! So when it comes to volunteers, it goes beyond WE APPRECIATE YOU and even beyond WE NEED YOU…the fact is that Patterson Little League DOESN’T HAPPEN WITHOUT YOU!

Here are some of the more common ways to volunteer:

• Manage or coach a team

• Help at practices

• Be a team parent or coordinator

• Fulfill team or field duties such as scorekeeper, dugout manager, pitch-counter or organize snacks

• Help prepare the field before games or clean up after games

• Volunteer as an umpire

• Volunteer as a member of the Board

• Volunteer to help during opening day.

• Volunteer to help in the snack bar.

 

Registering as a Volunteer:
